Meet Jaye Curtis, the man with a vision to Take Texas Back and put Texas First. Born in October of 1961, Jaye, a proud Republican, is a retired Correctional Officer with a diverse career background. Having served in the United States Navy Submarine Service, he took an extraordinary career pivot into the entertainment industry, where he further demonstrated his dynamic capabilities as a Professional Entertainment Disc Jockey for 25 years. Jaye possesses not only a technical degree in Surgical Technology from the Medvance Institute but also an infinite love and dedication toward his home state, Texas. As a newcomer in the political field, Jaye is making a commitment to a higher cause - to serve as the State Representative for Texas House District 8. True to his promise, Jaye embraces the spirit of the TEXAS FIRST pledge, which highlights Article 1 Section 2 of the Texas Constitution, affirming the right of secession for the State of Texas. Renowned for his dedication, Jaye continues to tailor his career path to meet the needs of his fellow Texans. In his free time, he enjoys life with his wife Kimberly. For Jaye, the heart of his campaign lies in championing the interests of Texas. His background in public service, entertainment, and technical knowledge equips him not only to understand and voice the diverse concerns of his constituents but also to incorporate creative problem solutions and a technical edge in addressing these issues.
